About the job

Build Anthropic’s custom silicon program, owning technical decisions and execution in a silicon domain while partnering across hardware and software teams.

What you'll do

  • Drive silicon program strategy, specifications, execution, and technical quality; make and own decisions on technology, IP, and build-versus-buy choices.
  • Contribute domain expertise to chip architecture and hardware-software co-design; support integration, first-silicon bring-up, and debug.
  • Develop and share AI-assisted approaches for code-like work in the domain, evaluating where Claude helps.

What they ask for

  • Deep hands-on expertise in at least one listed silicon domain and personal contribution to silicon that taped out and shipped.
  • Fluency in adjacent silicon domains and experience reviewing and holding a technical bar with external partners.
  • Track record owning consequential technical decisions; practical use of AI coding tools and clear communication across teams.
  • Comfort working autonomously on a dynamic program.

Nice to have

  • Experience with machine-learning accelerators, high-performance compute, or other large, high-bandwidth designs.
  • Experience on early-stage silicon teams, hardware-software co-design, or AI-assisted design flows.
