Solution Architect (AI)

What you'll do

• Design and advise on Appian solutions for federal customer environments, including cloud hosting and infrastructure integration.
• Support sales proposals and customer delivery, including presentations, implementation practices, DevSecOps, and technical roadmaps.
• Guide federal customers’ AI integration, enterprise data architecture, data governance, and AI governance.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years advising customers on design and implementation of government cloud computing platforms, and at least 10 years of multi-tier application design and architecture.
• Experience architecting secure federal cloud solutions using Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and/or Microsoft Azure; experience authoring federal proposals and whitepapers.
• In-depth federal program and project management experience and agile IT delivery experience; Certified Scrum Master or other agile certification required. Active DoD Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain) and U.S. citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience accelerating IT solutions under the federal government’s Risk Management Framework; DevSecOps pipelines and Infrastructure Automation experience.
• AWS, Google, or Azure Certifications; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Pay

$150,000 — $275,000 USD base salary

AI focus

Advise federal customers on integrating AI and generative AI, including large language models (LLMs), intelligent automation, and machine learning; develop AI governance covering model risk, explainability, bias mitigation, and monitoring.
