About the job

Build secure, low-level runtime frameworks that connect foundation models to Apple system APIs and interfaces, enabling reliable agentic workflows across Apple platforms.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement execution frameworks and runtime loops that turn multimodal model outputs into safe system actions.
  • Integrate perception pipelines and agentic tooling, and collaborate with CoreOS, UI Frameworks, and Siri teams on architecture and integration.
  • Write and review production-quality code, tests, and documentation; contribute to architecture decisions and roadmaps.

What they ask for

  • Strong programming skills in Swift, Objective-C, and/or C++.
  • Fundamental knowledge of OS concepts including IPC, daemons, event routing, and sandboxing.
  • Ability to architect and debug complex asynchronous systems and build scalable infrastructure that securely interfaces with LLMs and evaluation systems.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with applied LLM integration, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration patterns.
  • Proficiency with UIKit, AppKit, or SwiftUI, and understanding of accessibility or UI automation technologies.
