What you'll do

  • Develop foundation models and mid-training approaches that connect general capability with task-specific performance.
  • Research reward modeling and reliable alignment, including for agentic settings and action-taking workflows.
  • Apply deep learning to real-world areas such as voice interactions, natural language processing, and learning with knowledge.

What they ask for

  • Demonstrated deep-learning expertise with relevant publications or a track record applying deep learning to products.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and one of JAX, PyTorch, or Tensorflow.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • PhD, or equivalent practical experience, in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

  • Code Large language models; experience building end-to-end voice models.
  • Experience in speech recognition and generation, reinforcement learning or on-policy distillation, and post-training or mid-training large language models.
