Backend Software Engineer - Find My

What you'll do

• Develop customer-facing web services and new Find My features.
• Build and scale REST services, APIs, and supporting data storage and caching.
• Support service performance, reliability, security, and automated testing.

What they ask for

• Strong Java expertise, including Core Java, multithreading, and non-blocking I/O.
• Experience building customer-facing web services, including authentication, authorization, scaling, availability, spam control, and reliability.
• Knowledge of data storage and caching technologies, Java performance tuning, REST services, cryptography, and CI/CD automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience); ability to be in office Monday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with machine learning systems, GitHub, Maven, Docker, Spinnaker, or Kubernetes.

Pay

$150,400 and $277,600 (USD, base salary)
