Leads the design and qualification of lithium rechargeable battery cells, from concept through production ramp.
What you'll do
- Develop cell performance specifications and design details, and determine production-ramp acceptability.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver designs on time and on budget; investigate issues and report findings and recommendations.
- Evaluate advanced technologies for next-generation cells and pursue intellectual property to protect developments.
