About the job

Implements CPU blocks, driving RTL-to-GDS physical design and collaborating on memory-subsystem and pipeline trade-offs.

What you'll do

  • Work with micro-architects on memory-subsystem feasibility, area, frequency, performance, and power trade-offs, and pipeline-stage design.
  • Drive RTL-to-GDS through synthesis and place-and-route to meet power, performance, and area targets.
  • Implement and validate physical design with cross-functional teams, including timing, area, reliability, testability, and power.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Scripting experience in Perl or TCL.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with high-performance microprocessor architecture and logic design principles, including timing and power implications.
  • Knowledge of low-power microarchitecture, deep sub-micron technologies and device physics, or synthesis and place-route tools.

Tools

Perl, TCL, RTL-to-GDS, synthesis, place-and-route
