About the job
Evaluates new process technologies for CPU physical design through implementation experiments and analysis to improve performance, power, and area (PPA).
What you'll do
- Drive RTL-to-GDS flows, including synthesis and place-and-route, for technology evaluation experiments.
- Analyze physical-design results and identify opportunities to improve PPA across technology, libraries and memory, tools and methodology, and RTL.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technology-related issues and perform experiments targeting PPA improvements.
