About the job

Own the architecture of motion-sensing digital ASICs from concept through silicon, translating product requirements into modeled, specified hardware for Apple products.

What you'll do

  • Define and evaluate digital architecture, including processor, DSP, memory, interfaces, power and performance trade-offs.
  • Develop sensing and signal-processing models, validate system interactions, and compare models with first-silicon results.
  • Author specifications, lead architecture reviews, and drive issue resolution from bring-up through production.

What they ask for

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Expertise in digital ASIC architecture for sensor or mixed-signal systems, including processor/DSP subsystems, memory and bus architecture, and custom control engines.
  • Experience taking complex ICs from architecture through production, or with sensing algorithms, modeling, bring-up, characterization, or system-level debug.

Pay

$175,000 and $308,500 USD (base salary); $184,700 and $324,800 USD (base salary)
