About the job

Develop embedded firmware for cellular physical-layer signal processing on digital/vector processors and specialized cellular hardware, supporting 4G/5G/6G systems.

What you'll do

  • Implement cellular channels, procedures, and signal-processing algorithms within power, performance, latency, memory, and energy constraints.
  • Design firmware architecture; refine algorithms with systems engineers and validate fixed-point implementations against algorithmic references.
  • Support pre-silicon emulation and verification, and develop tools and methodologies for build, formal verification, and testing.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience implementing DSP algorithms using special-purpose digital/vector processing hardware or wireless physical-layer channels interfacing with special-purpose hardware.
  • Strong software engineering and computer science fundamentals; familiarity with C, C++, compilers, build and source-control tools, and Python scripting.
  • Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms; understanding of computer architecture and hardware/software interfaces in high-speed communication subsystems.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of 3GPP cellular standards and familiarity with digital/wireless communications.
  • Significant experience with memory-constrained RTOS and concurrent programming; familiarity with machine learning and generative AI.
