Develops and qualifies mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, and supplier capabilities for Apple products, from design development through production ramp.
What you'll do
- Develop and document manufacturing processes and equipment requirements, including CNC machining, surface finishing, glass processing, assembly, and painting.
- Lead supplier-site development and production ramp, resolving engineering issues and driving yield and process improvements using data and SPC.
- Define process capability, part tolerances, and specifications in collaboration with Product Design, Industrial Design, and supply partners.
