Develop and qualify mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, and supplier capabilities for Apple products, leading process development in a specialty area such as CNC machining, surface finishing, glass processing, assembly, or painting.
What you'll do
- Define, document, and qualify manufacturing processes and equipment to meet product specifications and operational requirements.
- Lead engineering support at manufacturing sites and suppliers, resolving issues and driving yield improvement during development and production ramp.
- Use data analysis, DOE, and SPC to guide process decisions and define part tolerances and specifications.
