Set up, operate, and program CNC machines to produce precision prototype components, inspect them, and support engineering teams with prototype builds and process improvements.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize toolpaths using 3D CAD/CAM software; interpret drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to plan machining.
- Select tooling and machining parameters, inspect components with precision metrology tools, and troubleshoot machining or programming issues.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype builds and manufacturability improvements while following safety and quality standards.
