About the job

Develop and characterize RF models and mitigation algorithms for cellular modem systems, supporting performance sign-off and specification definition.

What you'll do

  • Model, design, simulate, and characterize RF systems and modem impairments for 5G/6G cellular and 5G NTN.
  • Develop analytical models and RF mitigation algorithms; support modem performance sign-off and RF/modem specification definition.
  • Collaborate with RF systems and analog circuit designers, and develop AI/ML modem solutions and mitigation techniques.

What they ask for

  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Deep knowledge of signal processing and communication systems, with strong analytical skills in areas such as linear algebra, random processes, detection, and estimation.
  • Experience with Matlab, C/C++, and Python for algorithm development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI/ML applications in wireless communication; familiarity with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with RF impairments and mitigation techniques, RF/analog components, cellular standards, and RF systems lab testing and characterization.

Pay

$175,000 and $308,500 (USD, base salary); $184,700 and $324,800 (USD, base salary)

Tools

Matlab, C/C++, Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow
