About the job

Designs, validates, and takes wireless RFIC transceiver circuits for wireless SoCs from concept through mass production.

What you'll do

  • Design RFIC transceiver blocks and chains, including TX, RX, and PLL-LOGen, from architecture and transistor-level studies through simulation and extraction.
  • Coordinate with RF Systems on specifications and margins; design RF and analog loopbacks and address coexistence requirements.
  • Collaborate on chip test, productization, silicon measurement correlation, debugging, and volume-production specification compliance.

What they ask for

  • BS degree.
  • Understanding of analog design concepts, including noise, linearity, mismatch, and stability.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, Matlab, and EM simulation tools such as EMX or HFSS.
  • Expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuit design, and experience in silicon characterization and debugging.

Nice to have

  • MSEE or PhD plus relevant industry experience; experience taking wireless transceivers into mass production.
  • RF transceiver architecture and system-specification knowledge; modulation impacts, analog/digital partitioning, or mixed-signal verification familiarity.
