Senior Data Engineer, Data Products

What you'll do

• Engineer and operate data processing systems across real-time, near-real-time, and batch contexts; deliver features, schema changes, backfills, and fixes.
• Improve pipeline design, reliability, efficiency, and operational performance; contribute to monitoring and on-call, and support incident response as appropriate.
• Use AI coding agents with validation for correctness, privacy, and cost; collaborate with product and engineering teams and mentor others as seniority grows.

What they ask for

• 5+ years of industry experience building distributed, scalable data pipelines.
• Proficiency with modern programming languages and distributed data processing; data modeling with Iceberg lakehouse concepts.
• Experience building and scaling systems on premise and in the cloud.
• Demonstrated productive use of AI coding tools in real delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience owning pipeline component or service design, or working with near-real-time and streaming pipelines at scale.
• Prior advertising industry experience; history of reliability, efficiency, or cost improvements and mentoring engineers.

Pay

USD $184,700 and $324,800 base salary
