What you'll do
- Build and run Spark streaming and batch pipelines; validate events and manage backfills and malformed data.
- Design and optimize Iceberg tables for Trino, and maintain data quality checks, monitoring, and alerts.
- Take over Kafka-to-Iceberg ingestion, improve performance and cost, and contribute to on-call, code review, and mentoring.
