Senior Software Engineer, Security/Privacy, Enterprise Technology Services

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable distributed systems and full-stack security solutions.
• Develop and optimize services handling large volumes of critical data using privacy protocols, databases, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners across Apple.

What they ask for

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Skills in AWS or GCP, Docker and Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Understanding of applied machine learning, deep learning (including LLMs), NLP, and running ML tasks on cloud compute.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent; expertise in optimizing applications in polyglot settings, and knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and using privacy-enabling technologies.
• Experience monitoring deployed solutions for performance, drift, and service level objectives (SLO).

Pay

$184,700 and $277,600 USD base salary
