Develops silicon photonics optical-engine packaging and co-packaging solutions, from design and prototyping through scalable manufacturing, to enable next-generation optical interconnects.
What you'll do
- Design, model, simulate, prototype, and characterize photonic devices, optical interconnects, and packages.
- Lead packaging, optical coupling, fiber assembly, and co-packaging development with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Define assembly processes and package integration, and document and present technical findings.
