About the job
Build and operate scalable, reliable Kafka infrastructure and platform services for Apple’s distributed data systems.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Kafka deployment infrastructure, automation, control-plane features, monitoring, and alerting.
- Manage service lifecycle and performance across bare-metal, virtualized, and Kubernetes platforms; support incident management.
- Prepare alert-handling procedures and runbooks, and collaborate with SRE teams and internal platform customers.
