Specialist, Emergency Services - Sensing & Connectivity

What you'll do

• Work with systems and hardware teams on safety technologies and advise on emergency features, location transport, and detection capabilities.
• Partner with government agencies, PSAPs, regulators, and industry associations to explain safety features and expand their reach.
• Support integration of new technologies into responder operations and educate public safety personnel through change management.

What they ask for

• At least 10 years' cumulative experience in one or more public safety disciplines.
• Experience, including legislative knowledge, with PSAP operations in East Asia/Pacific, South and Central America, or South Asia.
• Basic knowledge of cellular network systems and their role in emergency response.
• Understanding of public safety systems architecture and experience integrating novel technologies into PSAP or field-responder operations; ability to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GPS / GNSS, public safety and emergency communications standards, training, and regulations.
• Bachelor's or higher degree preferred but not required; additional non-English language skills are a plus.

Pay

$150,400 and $277,600 (base salary); $142,300 and $263,300 (base salary); $134,700 and $249,500 (base salary); $119,800 and $222,000 (base salary)
