About the job

Manage and scale the infrastructure platform that supports Apptronik’s robotics software development and releases, with responsibility for reliability, security, and production operations.

What you'll do

  • Operate Kubernetes across bare metal, virtual machines, and public cloud; build CI/CD and build infrastructure.
  • Design disaster recovery, safe deployment, monitoring, and alerting; debug and resolve production issues across the stack.
  • Manage infrastructure as code, strengthen platform security, and partner with robotics teams on architecture and production readiness.

What they ask for

  • Deep Linux knowledge and production experience building, upgrading, and debugging Kubernetes clusters.
  • Hands-on debugging skills; infrastructure-as-code and GitOps experience using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Argo CD.
  • Software development skills in Go or Python; networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing, VLANs, and BGP.
  • Experience defining observability measures, alerts, and SLOs; ability to design for failure and investigate root causes.

Nice to have

  • Hybrid infrastructure experience across bare metal, virtualization, storage, and at least one public cloud; CI/CD or build infrastructure at scale.
  • Experience with immutable Kubernetes node operating systems, eBPF networking, replicated container registries, disaster recovery, x86_64 and ARM, or robotics, embedded systems, or IoT fleets.

Tools
