Build and lead Arbor Energy’s manufacturing strategy, systems, and partnerships to move complex energy hardware from development builds into repeatable production.
What you'll do
- Develop the manufacturing scale-up roadmap and translate designs into practical production plans.
- Set production, supplier, facility, capacity, and make-versus-buy strategies; establish processes for quality, qualification, traceability, and cost improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional manufacturing plans, build the team and partner network, and present decision-ready recommendations to leadership.
What they ask for
- 10+ years in manufacturing, industrialization, production engineering, or operations for complex hardware systems, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
- Experience moving first-of-a-kind or early-stage hardware from prototype or first article into repeatable production and building manufacturing systems from the ground up.
- Production or production-intent additive manufacturing experience, including qualification, inspection, repeatability, yield, and downstream integration.
- Working knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, test, quality systems, and production readiness; experience with make-versus-buy and manufacturing-partner decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, pressure systems, energy hardware, aerospace, propulsion, industrial process equipment, or similarly demanding hardware.
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth companies, or manufacturing involving additive processes, machining, post-processing, welding, skidded systems, piping, electrical integration, and system-level test.
Pay
$200,000 - $220,000 USD/year (base salary)
