About the job

Designs, trains, and interprets foundation models that learn from multimodal raw sensor data to understand and reason about the physical world.

What you'll do

  • Develop sensor-data foundation models and methods for representation learning, multimodal alignment, and self-supervised learning.
  • Adapt pretrained models to new datasets, modalities, environments, and use cases; diagnose limitations and run experiments to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to bring research advances into production systems.

What they ask for

  • 8+ years developing advanced ML/AI systems, focused on real-world sensor data.
  • Expertise in modern deep learning architectures, especially transformers, representation learning, and large-scale model training.
  • Strong research and experimentation skills, including designing and evaluating new approaches.
  • Excellent Python programming skills and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with LLMs.
  • Experience with self-supervised or contrastive learning for large unlabeled datasets, or with large-scale or distributed training infrastructure.

Tools

Python, PyTorch
