About the job

Designs and leads robotics software architecture and platform integration for reliable, autonomous, on-device systems running on Arm-powered products.

What you'll do

  • Architect and integrate robotics software spanning sensors, state estimation, planning, control, middleware, operating systems, and hardware accelerators.
  • Build developer APIs, SDKs, testing workflows, and diagnostic tools; optimize real-time performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Lead cross-stack technical work, mentor engineers, and collaborate with internal teams, partners, and customers.

What they ask for

  • 6+ years designing and building robotics, autonomous systems, or embedded software used in real-world environments.
  • Proficiency in modern C++ and Python, with strong software design, debugging, and code-quality practices.
  • Strong understanding of robotics middleware and communication patterns (including ROS 2 or comparable systems), coordinate frames, timing, calibration, Linux-based and real-time systems, concurrency, IPC, and distributed component lifecycles.
  • 3+ years leading architecture or integration across multiple parts of a robotics stack; strong algorithms, data structures, numerical methods, performance optimization, and cross-layer debugging skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with navigation, manipulation, motion planning, simulation, or automated robotics testing.
  • Familiarity with embedded AI/perception inference, heterogeneous computing, functional safety, or open-source robotics contributions.
