A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

About the job

Verify next-generation Cortex-A CPU memory-system functional blocks using simulation and formal methods, and improve verification environments, coverage, and delivery quality.

What you'll do

  • Develop SystemVerilog UVM and formal verification environments and tests; create and maintain verification plans.
  • Run tests on logic simulation models, debug RTL issues, and implement functional and statistical coverage through coverage closure.
  • Collaborate with design and architecture colleagues to understand CPU memory-system behavior and resolve verification issues.

What they ask for

  • Practical pre-silicon design verification experience, including developing and debugging RTL verification environments.
  • Knowledge of CPU memory-subsystem microarchitecture, including load/store functionality, L2 cache, and MMUs.
  • Experience using simulation and/or formal verification to verify hardware functional units.
  • Object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms; experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.

Nice to have

  • Experience verifying high-performance CPU memory systems or processor microarchitecture concepts.
  • Experience building reusable UVM testbenches, coverage-driven verification, or software engineering practices such as design patterns, profiling, and unit testing.
