About the job

Leads mechanical architecture and design of liquid-cooling and fluid-distribution systems for modular AI data center platforms, from factory-ready design through deployment and commissioning.

What you'll do

  • Own cooling and hydraulic architecture, including system boundaries, flow strategies, equipment interfaces, and performance validation.
  • Develop and maintain hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, design criteria, equipment schedules, and mechanical documentation.
  • Design modular interfaces for manufacturing, serviceability, controls, and commissioning; coordinate with cross-functional and field teams.

What they ask for

  • 7 or more years of experience designing mechanical cooling, hydraulic distribution, process cooling, or mission-critical infrastructure systems.
  • Experience in data centers, semiconductor facilities, industrial process cooling, central utility plants, or comparable high-reliability environments.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe sizing, pump selection, pressure-drop analysis, flow balancing, system volume, and hydraulic control.
  • Experience owning P&IDs, mechanical calculations, equipment schedules, valve schedules, and instrumentation requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience with direct liquid cooling for AI or HPC systems, or equipment such as CDUs and rack manifolds.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling tools, design software, modular infrastructure, commissioning, or a Professional Engineer license.
