About the job
Operate and troubleshoot high-pressure zinc and aluminum die-casting equipment while producing parts to customer specifications and supporting process quality and improvement.
What you'll do
- Set up and independently operate casting machines, trim presses, auxiliary equipment, and robot programs; troubleshoot casting defects and machine-program errors.
- Train and guide other die-casting staff, maintain production and inspection records, and coordinate tool repairs.
- Perform metal sampling, monitor equipment, and collaborate with Engineering on process development, metal hygiene, and improvements.
