Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Search & Intelligence

What you'll do

• Own machine learning projects from problem definition through production deployment, measurement, and improvement.
• Build and evaluate scalable models and systems, including for search, ranking, personalization, NLP, deep learning, and LLM applications.
• Collaborate across product and technical teams, contribute to architecture and best practices, and mentor machine learning engineers.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience developing and deploying production machine learning or data science solutions.
• Strong Python skills and experience with a production language such as Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript; strong SQL and large-scale data processing experience such as Spark.
• Experience developing, evaluating, deploying, and scaling models with large datasets, plus production software and model evaluation/experimentation experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building search, recommendation, ranking, personalization, or NLP systems; applying deep learning or LLMs in production.
• Experience with agentic systems, ML platforms, model serving, feature stores, observability, or responsible AI.

Pay

USD $206,100 - $269,075 base salary; USD $185,490 - $242,168 base salary; USD $171,063 - $223,332 base salary
