About the job

Leads functional verification of ASICs for Atom Computing’s neutral-atom quantum computers, from verification planning and test development through tapeout, signoff, and silicon evaluation.

What you'll do

  • Own and lead block-to-chip verification plans, test execution, regression, coverage closure, and signoff; communicate defects and tapeout risks.
  • Develop Python testbenches and perform post-layout gate-level and DFT verification, including timing-accurate simulation and debug.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, coordinate contractors, and collaborate across design, firmware, architecture, and hardware teams.

What they ask for

  • 10+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience; experience verifying multiple ASICs through tapeout and subsequent silicon evaluation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Python testbench development skills and experience with SystemVerilog assertions, functional and code coverage, and verification planning.
  • Hands-on post-P&R verification, DFT verification, RTL and waveform debugging, and proficiency with SystemVerilog/UVM, HDL debug tools, Linux, and version control.

Nice to have

  • 15+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience.
  • Experience with formal verification, equivalence checking, CDC/RDC, lint, emulation, FPGA prototyping, silicon bring-up, or quantum hardware.
