Estimates injection-molded part and tooling costs, develops pricing strategies, and supports customer proposals and quoting workflow improvements.
What you'll do
- Analyze RFQs, part files, prints, and customer requirements to estimate part and mold/tooling costs.
- Work with Sales and Engineering on proposals, pricing strategies, timelines, and profitability analysis.
- Track historical data and collaborate with the software team to improve and automate cost models and quoting.

- 3+ years of cost estimating experience in injection molding, tool & die, or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, including material, machine rates, overhead, and labor.
- Familiarity with part-costing software or tools such as Excel models, aPriori, or ProEst.
- Ability to read 2D prints and interpret 3D CAD models; excellent Excel/Sheets skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with quoting databases and CRM tools.
