About the job
Own and advise on real estate transactions and development matters supporting Atoms’ food, charging, mining, and autonomous-fleet operations.
What you'll do
- Draft, negotiate, and close leases, purchase and sale agreements, and ground leases from LOI through closing.
- Advise on acquisitions, construction contracts, easements, entitlements, zoning, utility interconnection, and related commercial agreements.
- Build legal templates, standard positions, and processes to help the business close deals efficiently.
What they ask for
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 6+ years of real estate transactional experience, including a strong law firm foundation in complex deals.
- Ability to independently run leases and purchase and sale agreements from first draft through closing.
- Experience in development, construction, land use, or entitlements, or real estate experience in energy, EV charging, mining, or data centers.
Nice to have
- California bar admission.
- In-house experience at a company that owns or operates its footprint; depth in more than one relevant practice area is a strong plus.
Pay
$195,000 - $240,000 per year (base salary)
