Own Atoms’ CAD product data management, design documentation, BOM standards and releases, and data handoff to ERP/MRP systems.
What you'll do
- Configure and manage the CAD PDM system, workflows, data organization, file lifecycle, and design-file permissions.
- Set CAD, drawing, and BOM standards; coordinate production BOM and revision releases with NPI, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Manage documentation control and PDM-to-ERP/MRP data handoffs.
What they ask for
- 3+ years of PLM/PDM engineering experience in a hardware company.
- Experience with Solidworks or other 3D CAD software, and configuring PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of BOM structures, engineering versus manufacturing BOMs, and BOM handoff to ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience supporting a product from prototype through serial production and field deployment.
Nice to have
- Experience in robotics, AV, automotive, aerospace, or similarly complex systems.
