About the job
Designs and operates the high-performance network fabric connecting GPU and CPU compute, supporting training and simulation workloads and scaling the network as the cluster grows.
What you'll do
- Design, optimize, and scale low-latency HPC networking; plan capacity and lead projects from design through deployment.
- Partner with vendors to select and engineer switches, and automate network operations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve cross-discipline operational challenges.
What they ask for
- Experience designing, deploying, and scaling networks for HPC or GPU compute environments.
- Hands-on switch management experience with platforms such as Arista (EOS), Cisco (NX-OS), Nvidia (Cumulus), and/or SONiC.
- Capacity-planning and project-management skills.
- Packet decoding/analysis, and knowledge of fiber optics and high-speed cabling up to 800 Gbps.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with public cloud networks and config management.
- Familiarity with Python, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and GitHub; awareness of data center power and cooling.
