About the job

Develop and deploy real-time computer vision and sensor-fusion systems for an edge-based laser defense system, from model training and data pipelines to hardware integration and inference optimization.

What you'll do

  • Train, validate, and fine-tune models for object detection, classification, and segmentation; build data pipelines for simulated and field data.
  • Fuse multimodal sensor data and develop image-processing techniques for real-time detection and tracking.
  • Integrate sensors and embedded systems, optimize edge inference, and build telemetry for performance and hardware monitoring.

What they ask for

  • 2–6+ years in computer vision, sensor fusion, or robotics perception roles.
  • Strong C++ with deep ML engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch and TensorRT or OpenVINO.
  • Experience with real-time computer vision, multi-sensor calibration, and data synchronization.

Nice to have

  • Edge-AI optimization, FPGA, or embedded GPU experience.
  • Defense or safety-critical systems background; familiarity with cybersecurity guidelines and secure coding practices.
