About the job
Owns and improves the procedures and operations used to test software releases before they reach Aurora’s commercial fleet, coordinating results and readiness with Engineering and Release Management.
What you'll do
- Maintain and improve release test plans, checklists, and standard operating procedures; define pass/fail and escalation criteria and audit test execution.
- Triage test failures and coverage gaps into engineering tickets, track resolution, and incorporate lessons learned into procedures.
- Coordinate release readiness by checking test evidence, identifying coverage gaps, improving testing efficiency, and reporting progress and risks.

- Demonstrated experience owning or improving test procedures, QA processes, or release/quality gates in a technical environment.
