Counsel – Settlement Team

What you'll do

• Lead settlement negotiations and develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria.
• Draft, review, and finalize settlement documents; resolve claimant disputes and appeals.
• Oversee settlement implementation and claims administration, including teams, workflows, quality assurance, and claims data analysis.

What they ask for

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active and in good standing with a local state Bar, or eligible to waive in.
• Minimum 8 years of significant and substantive legal practice focused on mass torts in drug, medical device, and/or consumer products, including at least 3 years of law firm litigation practice.
• Claims resolution experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and/or directly negotiating settlement documents, with a deep understanding of contracting principles.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with matter management systems, claims administration platforms, and AI-enabled claim review platforms.
• Claims resolution focused on pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or consumer health or consumer-facing products.
