Lead the architecture and development of firmware for Base’s battery systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation across a large fleet of home-deployed devices.
What you'll do
- Define the embedded software platform architecture and lead firmware development for hardware interfaces and safety systems.
- Coordinate system-level decisions with hardware, electrical, cloud, and fleet software teams; establish reliability and diagnostics standards.
- Design OTA updates and device lifecycle systems, solve fleet-level technical problems, and mentor engineers.
