About the job
Owns global sourcing for structural metal components used in Base’s batteries and related products, from supplier selection and negotiation through production readiness.
What you'll do
- Run RFQs, evaluate bids, select suppliers, and negotiate pricing, tooling, payment terms, and agreements.
- Build should-cost models, identify cost reductions, and set commodity strategy balancing cost, continuity, and risk.
- Manage supplier performance and escalations, prepare suppliers for production, and present sourcing recommendations.
