About the job
Own accounting, tax, and finance operations for a portfolio of individual LLCs and support Basic Capital’s corporate finances while building scalable processes and controls.
What you'll do
- Manage accounting and administration for more than 1,000 LLCs, including monthly loan and servicing tapes, reconciliations, partnership filings, and K-1s.
- Support corporate accounting and operations, including monthly close, budgeting and forecasting, AP, AR, payroll, and payments.
- Build controls and audit readiness, and work with engineering to automate accounting workflows using AI.
What they ask for
- Experience with partnership or LLC accounting, including capital accounts, allocations, and K-1s.
- Hands-on experience preparing partnership returns using UltraTax CS or similar professional tax software.
- Controller-level experience, including monthly close, budgeting, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
- Strong data skills in SQL, advanced Excel, or both.
Nice to have
- Active CPA license.
- Experience in structured finance, lending, consumer finance, fund administration, or automating financial workflows with engineers.
