About the job
Leads BBVA’s Portfolio Monitoring & Solutions function, overseeing post-closing risk, collateral monitoring, governance, reporting, and process improvement for structured trade and commodity finance transactions.
What you'll do
- Set monitoring policies, governance standards, procedures, and portfolio oversight frameworks.
- Oversee collateral, borrowing base calculations, transaction performance, covenant compliance, and risk escalation.
- Lead and develop the team while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on monitoring and process improvements.

- Extensive knowledge of Structured Trade & Commodity Finance, Asset-Based Lending, Structured Receivables Finance, and related products.
- Advanced understanding of borrowing base methodologies, collateral monitoring, portfolio management, and structured lending.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluency in English; employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or other business intelligence, reporting, and automation tools.
Pay
USD $200,000 to $225,000 base salary
