Director, Institutional Compliance

What you'll do

• Partner with the BTC Chief Compliance Officer to oversee and improve the compliance program and advance strategic priorities.
• Lead engagement with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, including examinations, inquiries, remediation, responses, and reporting.
• Develop compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, testing, and monitoring; advise partners on regulatory requirements and risks; manage compliance professionals.

What they ask for

• Substantial experience in a legal, compliance, regulatory, or risk management role within financial services.
• Significant experience with bank regulatory frameworks and entities regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead regulatory examinations and relationships, complex remediation, and governance initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree required; ability to manage and develop compliance teams and communicate effectively with regulators and senior executives.

Nice to have

• Chief Compliance Officer experience at a smaller institution and/or senior compliance leadership at a large financial institution; experience with entities regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
• Familiarity with asset management, fiduciary activities, collective investment funds, and ERISA requirements; an advanced degree, Juris Doctor, or equivalent professional qualification is welcome.

Pay

USD$173,500.00 - USD$270,000.00 (base salary)
