Owns capacity planning and infrastructure expansion so Blacksmith can meet demand across its compute, storage, networking, and datacenter footprint.
What you'll do
- Forecast infrastructure demand and plan capacity growth, regional deployments, and datacenter expansion.
- Lead hardware procurement and manage relationships with hardware vendors, datacenter providers, and other suppliers.
- Track utilization and build processes that support efficient infrastructure scaling.

- Experience operating large-scale infrastructure, cloud, hosting, networking, or datacenter environments.
- Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, or infrastructure operations.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Able to work in person 5 days a week in SF/NYC.
