About the job

What you'll do

  • Lead one or two technically complex acquiring projects from design through production, including network and acquirer connections or network mandates.
  • Build and operate payment systems and tooling; analyze payment messages, make routing and processing decisions, and support on-call and incident response.

What they ask for

  • Deep card-payments experience building or operating network, acquirer, or processor integrations at the message level (ISO 8583 or an acquirer’s host format).
  • Experience with complex card transactions, such as partial or incremental authorizations, reversals, tips, currency conversion, and interchange qualification.
  • Strong hands-on engineering experience with highly reliable financial or payments systems at scale, and a track record leading complex projects and setting technical direction.
  • Daily experience building with AI coding agents, good judgment about their output, and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have
