Metals & Commodities Market Specialist, Specialist Sales - Financial Solutions

What you'll do

• Consult with clients and senior decision-makers on commodity-market, trading, investment, research, and risk workflows, demonstrating Bloomberg solutions.
• Partner with Sales to identify commercial opportunities, grow revenue, and support client engagement and product adoption.
• Represent client and market needs to Product and Data teams, and help clients explore AI-enabled commodity research and analysis workflows.

• Significant professional experience in metals and commodities markets.
• Deep knowledge of metals markets, including pricing, supply, demand, trade flows, and investment factors.
• Commercial and consultative skills, including influencing senior stakeholders and translating market expertise into business opportunities.
• Experience with Bloomberg Professional Services or comparable financial market data, analytics, and technology platforms; willingness to travel across North America.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in base metals, precious metals, ferrous metals, mining, or commodity trading.
• Experience with generative AI, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows; analytical tools such as APIs, Excel, Python, or Jupyter notebooks.

Pay

185,000 - 275,000 USD Annual (base salary)
