What you'll do
- Own system and subchannel thermal-hydraulics modeling, including LOCA, natural circulation, DNBR, and hot-channel analysis.
- Size reactor coolant system components and establish heat balances and flows across primary, secondary, and tertiary loops.
- Author Chapter 15 transient and accident evaluations and coordinate safety analyses with the broader risk-informed safety case.
What they ask for
- MS or PhD in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering, specializing in reactor thermal-hydraulics or pressure-vessel design.
