Maintains and repairs automated manufacturing equipment, including robotic, CNC, electrical-control, and mechanical systems, to support production.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair automated, robotic, CNC, and other production machinery; program or modify PLCs, HMIs, and servo controllers.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, repair or replace components, test equipment, and document wiring changes and completed work in SAP.
- Support continuous improvement and production needs, including robot operation and adjustment of robot positions.
What they ask for
- At least four years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment working with control systems, PLCs, CNC controls, robots, PCs, and HMIs.
- Working knowledge of prints, schematics, equipment documentation, and machine communications, including cables and LAN components.
- Competency working safely in electrical control panels, including 3-phase 480 volts and lower, using required procedures and PPE; practical demonstration required.
- Good computer, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills; mechanical aptitude.
Nice to have
- Prior robot-school training; a certificate is required to operate and teach robots.
