Supports mechanical component and system design from concept through prototyping, including production fixtures and design-for-manufacturing improvements.
What you'll do
- Create and modify CAD models and technical drawings; maintain bills of materials and technical documentation.
- Analyze and optimize components and assemblies, research design and manufacturing alternatives, and participate in design reviews.
- Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and fixture and production-area layout improvements.
