About the job
Architects and deploys manufacturing test systems, software, and operational processes for Boston Dynamics robots and electromechanical assemblies.
What you'll do
- Lead design, project management, and deployment of test solutions, including outsourced development and global contract manufacturing capacity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on design for test, test coverage, fault isolation, and root-cause analysis.
- Document test procedures and configurations; support and scale test stations, train teams, and mentor engineers and technicians.

- Experience developing test software using programming languages such as Python, in Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong electromechanical and software engineering fundamentals, and working knowledge of electrical equipment and analog/digital test and debug.
- Experience selecting or designing test hardware and deploying and supporting test systems at domestic and international Contract Manufacturing sites.
Nice to have
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software such as Altium or equivalent; knowledge of circuit board manufacturing DfX.
- CAD experience with Catia, NX, Solidworks, or similar; familiarity with Linux, C++, lean manufacturing or six sigma, or PLM such as Arena.
Pay
$134399.06 to $184,798.70 annually (base pay)
