Owns mechanical robot subsystems for Spot, from concept and design through verification, production, and volume manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Develop and release mechanical designs, parts, assemblies, drawings, and production documentation using CATIA or an equivalent tool.
- Lead subsystem development with cross-functional teams; plan or perform verification and validation, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
- Conduct design analyses and reviews, support DFM/DFA and cost reduction, and manage technical documentation and Engineering Change Orders.
